Core Values
- We value Encouragement. Encouragement inspires and promotes a life of godliness, faithfulness, and
compassion. Therefore we will take every opportunity to encourage one another in Christ both verbally and in writing. (I Corinthians 1:3 & Philippians 2:3)
- We value loving Fellowship*. We believe that as we connect with, relate to and spend quality time with each other we build and maintain strong, healthy relationships. By this we create bonds that cannot be easily broken. (Acts 2: 42)
- We value God-honoring Giving. By faithfully sharing our resources of time, talents, gifts and treasures we provide key components to the successful ministry of our church. (Luke 6:38 & 2 Corinthians 9:7)
- We value Ministry/Service*. Ministry enlightens and helps with spiritual and social improvement, which measures up to the Word of God. Through enthusiastic and exemplary service we seek to enhance the ministry of the church. (Ephesians 4: 11-13 & Micah 6:8)
- We value local and global Missions. Through selfless prayer, sacrificial giving and committed missionaries, we seek to transform our community and world for Christ. (Matthew 28:19-20)
- We value Prayer. Communicating with God in faith, we are able to accomplish what would otherwise be impossible. Therefore, we will continually give ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word. (Acts 6:4 & Luke 18:1)
- We value prophetic Bible Teaching. The dynamic, authentic and relevant presentation of biblical truth is profitable toward increasing our knowledge, wisdom and understanding. This adequately equips us for meaningful service and to effectively minister to the needs of our community. (2 Timothy 3:15-17 & Luke 4:18-19)
- We value genuine and personal Worship. We believe that true worship is God-centered, expressed individually and uninhibited. True worship is the acknowledgment of God and of all His power and glory in everything we do. (John 4:23)
- We value Evangelism*. Through sharing the good news about Christ, we fulfill His charge to advance the kingdom. Therefore, we will diligently strive to evangelize to those in our local community, as well as abroad; this is the duty of the church. (Matthew 28:19)
